Thermostat Guards- Honeywell's Versaguard is available for virtually any wall mounted thermostat.
Honeywell's complete selection of universal thermostat guards provides maximum protection from tampering and damage. Available in three sizes, and with the choice of clear plastic, opaque plastic or scratch-resistant metal covers.

Humidifiers- The recommended indoor relative humidity is 35% to 45%.

Heated air dries out and shrinks wood framing around doors and window frames. Gaps occur, permitting cold outside air infiltration. Heat loss and higher heating costs are often the result. Heated, parched air causes separation of wood in floors, trim and furniture...wall and ceiling cracks...plant damage and annoying static shocks are also a by-product of dry air.

Proper humidity reduces heating costs by stopping wood shrinkage, which reduces cold air infiltration around door and window frames. In turn, you will feel warm at lower temperatures. You can actually lower your thermostat and still be comfortable. In cases where excessive dry air has been the cause of physical aggravations, doctors have prescribed whole-house humidification. Proper humidity also protects your furnishings, wood floors and plants.

 

Electronic Air Cleaners- High efficiency air filtering removes up to 95% of the irritating airborne particles, like pollen, bacteria, viruses and dust mites. Cleaner air circulating through your equipment keeps it cleaner, therefore reducing operating costs by 10 to 15% over the life of the equipment.

The unit requires no service, generates no toxic ozone, and is not affected by variations in relative humidity or temperature. The only maintenance required is periodic replacement of the filter media approximately once a year under normal conditions.

The high-efficiency Space-Gard provides 78.6 square feet of filtering surface and can effectively remove up to 99% of all pollen and spores, and up to 90% of smaller particle pollutants such as dust, lint, smoke and soot. An important advantage of media type filtering is that the unit's efficiency actually increases as the media becomes loaded, providing highly effective filtration of particles as small as 1 micron. Great for tough-to-get-to units (e.g. attics and crawl spaces)

Pliotron Electrostatic Air Filters- Pliotron's polyethylene media carries a strong electrostatic charge, both positive and negative, that attracts air-borne particles and holds them by strong electrostatic attraction. The result is effective, efficient, economical filtration even removing sub-visible particles 10 microns and smaller.

With a condensate pump, the water is safely pumped outside the house or into any available drain, sink, or sump. Inexpensive condensate units are designed for simple installation and trouble-free service. Completely self contained with stainless steel pump shaft, snap-action float switch, check valve with 3/8"hose connection and a 6 ft. power cord.
